-The driver’s seat is on the right side of the car
-They drive on the left side of the road
-It is not customary to tip here (this has been a bit of a struggle for me to not tip)
-Even at fast food places, you never clean up after yourself
-There are two seasons-rain and shine and it's always warm/hot :) (love that!)
-There are 10 public holidays throughout the year that we have off (I have no idea what they are yet)

Enjoy your holidays! Been keeping up with you on the blog and loving every moment. So jealous that you can be spontaneous! Weather here has been okay - wamr'ish but rainy. Lots of wind last night - it woke us up at 5am! Take care and keep posting! I want to see you in those tailored shirts and with a new hairdo! :0)

ReplyDeleteoh julie, it is so cold and wet here even though it is may 3. this is ridiculous. Im not sure if there is an end in sight. I know its very hot and muggy there, but seriously, personally I would rather be warm than cold. Wish I was at the beach with you. I don't think I can wait till xmas. I wonder what xmas will look like in Singapore. Enjoy your week
